 In this course, dental hygiene educators will learn how to build students’ confidence in local anesthesia through effective hands-on teaching strategies. While grounded in key neuroscience principles, the focus is on practical techniques for improving students’ proficiency in injection delivery. Participants will explore methods for teaching proper syringe handling, stabilization, retraction, positive aspiration, and needle depth identification.
